Job summary

Xperi POLAND sp. z o.o. in Warsaw is seeking a software engineer to contribute to web frontend features, client-server communication, and complex API integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will participate in code reviews, help shape architecture, and consistently improve the codebase. The role requires strong JavaScript skills, Node.js experience, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js or another backend language.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Puppeteer).
• Knowledge of state machines model (e.g. XState library).
• Solid understanding of good coding practices (e.g., linting).
• Knowledge of design patterns and ability to contribute to high-level designs, UML diagrams, and API definitions.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX-based systems.
• Good spoken and written English (minimum B2 level).
• Initiative, ownership, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Curious and analytical mindset - eager to understand why things work, not just if they work.
• Strong communication skills and openness to collaboration.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience working in a geographically distributed team
