Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer to join a team building a new product using Python and FastAPI on the backend, and React/TypeScript on the frontend. The product runs on PostgreSQL and OpenSearch with multi-cloud deployment, and leverages Databricks for data processing.

You will design APIs, optimize high-load queries, contribute to frontend work, apply GenAI engineering tools, and collaborate with a fast-paced startup-like environment while maintaining autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with Python, FastAPI, and SQL.
• Experience in web app development, API design and integrations.
• High-load database handling and query optimization.
• Front-end development with TypeScript and React; full-stack willingness.
• Hands-on with GenAI tooling, preferably Claude Code.
• Strong communication, proactive and able to work independently.
