Job summary

Sprout Social is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Web to join the Front-End Engineering team. You’ll write clean, performant code and provide technical leadership across cross-functional groups, delivering world class customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of frontend experience with Angular or similar frameworks, strong TypeScript skills, and excellent English. This is a hybrid role based near Kraków with occasional office days.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with planning, building, and releasing web applications with frontend technologies (Angular or other major framework, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS)
• Strong expertise in TypeScript
• Fluency in agentic coding workflows (Claude Code/Codex/Cursor)
• Communication, project management skills from collaborating with people across different teams and functional areas
• Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members, including less experienced engineers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver world class customer experiences.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Continuously improve the codebase by identifying areas for refactoring and optimization to enhance maintainability and scalability.
