OBI Smart Technologies is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and evolve modern web applications within a large-scale retail ecosystem. You will own frontend solutions, influence architecture, and collaborate with backend and product teams to deliver scalable, high-performance interfaces.

The role requires 5+ years frontend experience with Vue.js, strong SPA skills, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• 5+ years of frontend experience, with strong Vue.js skills.
• Experience designing scalable frontend architectures and reusable components.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and Node.js services.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, testing, security, and code quality.
• Fluent in English and Polish; hybrid work in Katowice.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of frontend architecture, component design, state management, and technical decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces, focusing on usability and an excellent user experience.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate REST APIs and backend services, including Node.js-based solutions.
• Establish and promote frontend development best practices, including code quality, automated testing, performance optimization, and maintainability.
• Identify technical challenges, drive improvements, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the frontend technology stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing within an agile environment.

• Salary range for Employment Contract: 13 000 - 22 000 PLN gross/month.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, including strong hands‑on experience with Vue.js.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures, reusable components, and state management solutions.
• Strong experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services, with familiarity with Node.js.
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization, automated testing, application security, and code quality standards.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with fluency in English and Polish and readiness to work in a hybrid model in Katowice.
