OBI Smart Technologies in Katowice seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and scale systems powering a modern retail platform. You will own full stack solutions and influence architectural decisions in a cloud-native, event-driven environment.

You will build backend services with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, create frontend apps with Vue.js, and work with Kafka, AWS, and containerized deployments. This role requires collaboration with DevOps, CI/CD, and cross-team mentoring in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development delivering production systems.
• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Vue.js.
• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and work across teams.
• Strong communication skills in English and Polish, with readiness for hybrid work in Katowice.

You will take ownership of full stack solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive improvements across backend and frontend systems in a cloud-native, event-driven environment.
