Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a senior software engineer for the AI/ML Engineering team to design, build, and operate AI-powered features across the full stack, from backend inference services to frontend UIs within the ClickHouse Cloud platform.

You will work on API architecture, ecosystem integrations, and productionizing models with observability and versioning. Remote-friendly role with on-call rotation and strong collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering in production environments
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies
• Backend development with TypeScript or Python, API design focus
• Strong ownership to drive features end-to-end
• Clear communicator across stakeholders
• Frontend skills with TypeScript/JavaScript and React

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered features across full stack, including backend and frontend interfaces
• Create robust APIs that connect ClickHouse with AI inference systems
• Integrate with AI/ML ecosystem and standard frameworks
• Integrate models into production with monitoring and versioning
• Participate in daytime on-call rotation
• Build responsive UI/UX for complex AI features
