Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking exceptional software engineers to build and maintain a cloud-native, serverless database platform. You will collaborate with the core development team to evolve ClickHouse into a scalable cloud-native database and work with other cloud teams to improve infrastructure performance.

You will contribute to the Kubernetes operator, metrics pipeline, and distributed infrastructure while solving data problems at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Production experience with Go, C++, or Java.
• Experience with on-call and production debugging (PagerDuty).
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS offerings.

Responsibilities

• Build a cloud-native database platform on top of public cloud services.
• Develop and maintain our in-house Kubernetes operator for infrastructure management.
• Improve the metrics pipeline and build systems for statistics and recommendations.
• Collaborate with ClickHouse core development and data plane teams on infrastructure use cases.
• Architect and build a robust, scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure.
