Job summary

DXC Luxoft is hiring a skilled front-end developer to join our client's investment banking team. You'll design, implement, and maintain modern web applications using React 17+ and TypeScript, with emphasis on performance and accessibility.

Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and product managers in an agile environment; contribute to clean code, reusable UI components, and automated UI tests using RTL, Cypress, or Playwright.

Qualifications

• Proven React 17+ experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux is a plus.
• Experience in UI testing (RTL, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency with CSS3/Less/CSS Modules.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web apps using React (17+) and TypeScript, with Angular exposure where needed.
• Build high-quality, reusable UI components focused on performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume RESTful APIs and clearly state requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clean, intuitive user interfaces.
• Apply clean code principles and front-end best practices across the codebase.
• Write and maintain automated UI tests using RTL, Cypress, and/or Playwright.
• Style UI with CSS3, Less, and CSS Modules to own the look and feel.
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies and ensure timely delivery.
