Job summary

DXC Luxoft is a global IT services and consulting company seeking a Software Web Developer to contribute to cloud/web development for a medical imaging product portfolio. You will work in a Scrum team to implement roadmap features with Azure-based back-end services and React-based UI, while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with QA, Product Owners, and DevOps, working with teams in France and China, and contribute to a modern, cloud-first software stack with MS

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of recent, hands-on web development experience.
• .NET: minimum 5 years of overall experience.
• ASP.NET Core: minimum 3 years.
• .NET Core / .NET 6+: minimum 3–5 years.
• ReactJS: minimum 2 years of commercial experience, recent.
• Microsoft Azure: minimum 3 years back-end services in Azure.
• Knowledge of MS SQL and Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of REST API principles.
• Comfortable with English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Understand functional needs and translate them into development activities.
• Develop back-end services hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud using C# .NET.
• Build web applications based on ReactJS framework.
• Interact with MS SQL databases via Entity Framework.

Project Description:

Software Web Developer contributes to the development of the cloud/web part of a medical imaging product portfolio (R&D, SW Development). Working as part of a Scrum team, the developer builds the product functionalities defined in the roadmap together with teammates, and stays continuously up to date with the latest development technologies to make the most appropriate choices for the products.

Responsibilities:

• Understand functional needs and translate them into development activities
• Develop back-end services hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud, based on the C# .NET framework
• Develop web applications based on the ReactJS framework
• Interact with MS SQL databases using Entity Framework
• Collaborate with Software Quality Engineers and Product Owners to meet customer needs and quality standards
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy solutions to production environments
• Interact with other Scrum teams based in France and China for broader capability delivery
• Accountable, together with the Scrum team, for the quality of products delivered to end customers (market fit driven by the Product Owner; timelines driven by the Program Manager and facilitated by the Scrum Master)

Mandatory Skills Description:

• At least 4 years of recent, hands-on web development experience (desktop-only backgrounds are not considered relevant)
• .NET: minimum 5 years of overall experience
• ASP.NET Core: minimum 3 years
• .NET Core / .NET 6+: minimum 3–5 years
• ReactJS: minimum 2 years of commercial experience, ideally consecutive and recent (it's crucial to have recent experience, within the last 2 years)
• Microsoft Azure: minimum 3 years of experience developing back-end services in an Azure cloud context
• Knowledge of MS SQL and interaction via Entity Framework
• Knowledge of REST API principles
