Job summary

Luxoft is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to strengthen security, release reliability, and resilience for critical banking applications in Warsaw. You will lead hands‑on engagements with development teams, write production code, and modernize legacy systems using Java/Spring, TypeScript, and modern CI/CD practices.

Expect to upgrade runtimes, containerize with Docker/OpenShift, improve observability, and enable safe automated releases.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on software engineering with production apps.
Expertise in Java/JVM essential with modernizing Spring applications.
Strong experience in TDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and dependency risk analysis.
Upgrades of runtimes/frameworks/libraries and container platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead targeted technical engagements addressing security, testing, release, resilience, and legacy technology challenges with development teams.
Assess application code, dependencies, runtime environment, test coverage, deployment architecture, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational risks.
Write, debug, review, and enhance production‑quality code and configuration throughout engagements.
Define and implement modernization/remediation plans with priorities, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
Develop or improve unit/integration/contract tests within CI/CD; enable release automation.
