Job summary

Pepco Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings.

The role requires reviewing and posting Fixed Assets transactions, including depreciations, disposals, and revaluations, while maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, 3–5 years in RTR/Fixed Assets, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Fixed Assets accounting or RTR.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations related to Fixed Assets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting processes, ensuring accurate, timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Preparing, reviewing, and posting Fixed Assets transactions (capitalizations, disposals, transfers, depreciation, impairments, accruals, journal entries).
• Executing month-end closing activities, including assets register reconciliations, depreciation runs, balance sheet reviews.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, local regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
• Supporting audits by preparing documentation and resolving findings.
