Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. in Poland is seeking an Experienced Accountant to join the Global Accounting Team on an 18-month fixed-term assignment, focusing on month-end close and accurate financial reporting within the Property Accounting area (Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting).

You will analyze accounting cases, ensure balance sheet accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SOX controls and system implementations while maintaining a collaborative, positive work

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to draw clear conclusions.
• Proficient in Excel; fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting; finance/Accounting degree.
• Motivated to learn; proactive, cooperative, and able to work virtually.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and year-end activities within Property Accounting with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts accuracy and complete reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, and Engineering to ensure proper accounting treatment and SOX compliance.
• Support team members with regular and ad hoc requests.
