Honeywell Technologies in Poland is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to join a 10-person delivery team focused on the MB ecosystem of intrusion and access control products. The role emphasizes software and firmware development along with DevSecOps and platform design.

You will design, develop, and maintain secure software for embedded systems, collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers, perform reviews, testing, and documentation, and stay current with industry security best

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proficiency in C#, C++, or Python.
• Extensive experience in Linux and FreeRTOS environments; ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software and firmware solutions for intrusion and access control systems within the MB ecosystem.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to define system requirements and deliver high‑quality products on schedule.
• Implement secure coding practices and integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Contribute to the architecture and platform design of embedded systems and related software environments.
• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure reliability and performance.
• Document software designs, specifications, and procedures to facilitate team collaboration and future maintenance.
