Job summary

Alarm.com subsidiary EBS Sp. z o.o. in Poland is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to develop software for real‑world devices, with a focus on safety and security.

You will work on C/C++ for MCUs, write unit tests, and collaborate with hardware and software teams, with a hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Qualifications: 3+ years in C/C++, embedded systems basics, Git, English B2+, technical degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Higher technical education (CS, Electronics or related field).

Responsibilities

• Implementing new features and developing existing software.
• Developing and maintaining embedded software in C/C++.
• Working with microcontroller (MCU) peripherals.
• Integrating devices with external systems and applications.
• Writing unit tests and ensuring code quality and readability.
• Participating in the design of new devices and features.
• Creating and updating technical documentation in English.
• Collaborating with the hardware team and other technical departments.
