Job summary

TrueLayer is expanding its Finance team in Warsaw. The role focuses on month-end close, regulatory reporting, VAT, payroll cost reconciliations, and financial packs for senior management.

You will own statutory audits, asset capitalization in NetSuite, and cross-entity accounting processes within a fast-growing fintech. Ideal candidates are qualified accountants with startup experience, strong NetSuite and Excel skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant with solid post-qualification industry experience.
• Autonomous self-starter able to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to deliver process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the monthly accounting close process across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Own the Annual Report preparation and statutory audit process; liaise with auditors.
• Manage VAT reporting, declarations and payments with the finance team.
• Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory returns.
• Verify monthly payroll files and liaise with the payroll provider on salary data.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs for senior management and the board.
• Capitalise tangible fixed assets; run amortisation and depreciation in NetSuite.
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain the group reconciliation sheet monthly.
• Participate in process improvement projects to enhance finance processes.
