Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Business Services Poland) seeks a finance professional with strong accounting and tax experience to support Direct Tax compliance, reporting, and audits. You will drive RtR CoE processes, ensure controls, and prepare statements in line with Group policies and local law.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting/finance, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel and English skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance or Accounting; professional qualification recommended.
• Solid knowledge of Direct Tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience with IFRS or local GAAP annual statutory statements.
• Excellent Excel and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Direct Tax compliance and monitor regulatory changes.
• Execute RtR CoE day-to-day activities and embed internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in line with policies.
• Assist external audits and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Collaborate with OpCos and other stakeholders as One Finance Team.

Your responsibilities would include:

• supporting Direct Tax compliance activities, including monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on financial and tax reporting, providing tax-related explanations to OpCos and other stakeholders, and supporting tax audits and tax authority inquiries
• day-to-day executing activities for RtR CoE
• demonstrating internal control mind-set and embedding internal controls into processes so controls are designed and executed effectively and any deficiency is mitigated
• delivering the Financial reporting processes in line with the Group and local Policies and Guidance and delivering all financial reports in line with HEINEKEN's Global Finance Policies & Procedures and local legislation
• providing all necessary analysis and explanatin to OpCo to enable them to sign off all required financial statements
• providing all necessary analysis and explanation to OpCo to enable them to sign off all required Direct Tax returns
• facilitating external audit for Group and local purposes for all OpCos in scope
• managing effective and rigorous controls to ensure full compliance with policies, procedures, and Global & Local Accounting standards
• supporting resolution of any escalation done by Opco Finance and Non-Finance Departments for resolution
• ensuring open and timely communication as One Finance Team
• driving own personal development in leadership, finance-specific skills, and business knowledge by implementing his/her development plan.

You are a good match if you:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Accounting Qualification recommended
• good understanding of Direct Tax regulations, experience in Direct Tax compliance and reporting, including corporate Income Tax calculations, tax provisions and tax returns
• experience in BS/P&L variance analysis
• experiance in audit delivery and coordination
• experience in annual statutory financial statements according to IFRS or local GAAP
• excellent organisational and time-management skills
• detail-oriented mindset and ability to focuse on quality
• very good Excel skills
• collaborative skills allowing to effectively manage the relationship with the key stakeholders, both internal and external
• very good written and verbal English.

• experience in supporting tax audits and managing Tax Authorities' inquiries.
