Job summary

Amer Sports in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to partner with Austrian and international entities, bridging local statutory accounting with Group Finance and business operations. You will support IFRS/UGB reporting, audits, internal controls, cross-functional projects, and continuous process improvement in a truly international environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Experience in international organization or shared services.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP.
• Fluent in English and German; knowledge of Austrian regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and UGB.
• Perform reconciliations and assist period-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies and statutory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and support variance investigations and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining high-quality accounting records and documentation.
