Job summary

Maersk seeks an Associate Finance Controller in Warsaw to lead end-to-end accounting for assigned entities within the Accounting to Reporting team. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and timely month-end close while collaborating with auditors and stakeholders across countries.

In a multinational environment, you will consolidate accounting and tax information, support regional finance projects, and maintain compliance with IFRS and Polish requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• End-to-end accounting and month-end close experience.
• Knowledge of Polish accounting requirements and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting activities for assigned entities.
• Deliver accurate and timely month-end close and reporting.
• Review balance sheets and substantiate accounts as needed.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support financial statement analysis and operational reporting.
• Ensure IFRS and Polish regulatory compliance and statutory reporting.
