Job summary

SimCorp seeks a Manager/Senior Manager for Engineering, Observability and Monitoring. You will own and grow two high-visibility teams responsible for logs, traces, metrics, and alerting across SimCorp One, building the operational backbone and guiding AI-assisted reliability initiatives.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture, SREs, and other stakeholders to define strategy, raise the bar on quality and security, and drive delivery across multiple locations in a global hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Lead and grow two high-visibility engineering teams in Observability and Monitoring.
• Own delivery of roadmaps with a high bar on quality, security, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, SREs, and other teams to translate strategy into execution.
• Shape and evolve the AI-assisted observability and AIOps strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead two distributed teams with clear priorities and a supportive culture.
• Drive delivery of Observability and Monitoring roadmaps across locations.
• Partner with product managers and architects to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Measure monitoring maturity, incident detection, and resolution times.
