Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering for Observability and Monitoring to own two high-visibility teams that build the operational backbone of SimCorp One. You will partner with Product Managers and architects to turn roadmaps into delivery, while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and reliability.

You will shape the strategy for data collection, alerting, and AI-assisted ops, leading multiple locations and ensuring the teams grow in people and tooling to meet business

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in a platform context.
• Strong background in observability, monitoring, and telemetry.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into measurable delivery outcomes.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two high-visibility Observability and Monitoring teams across locations.
• Drive delivery planning, prioritisation, and engineering health for both domains.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and architects to define strategy and roadmaps.
• Ensure quality, security, and operational readiness across the stack.
• Partner with SREs and product teams to instrument code and monitor systems.
