Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Embedded C/C++ Engineer to drive development of advanced telecommunications systems. This hands-on role combines deep embedded expertise with teamwork, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across hardware, FPGA, and software teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in embedded C/C++ in telecoms, strong Linux and Python automation skills, and experience with vendor SDKs, platform bring-up, and Open RAN/Open-RU concepts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of embedded C/C++ development in telecom environments.
• Strong Linux background and Python automation experience.
• Hands-on with vendor SDKs and platform bring-up; strong system thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize embedded software in C/C++ for telecom systems.
• Support tech lead with technical decisions and design reviews.
• Mentor a team of embedded engineers on best practices and coding standards.
• Work in Linux-based environments ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, and system teams for integration.
• Develop Python tools to support automation and testing.
• Assist with debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
