Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Kraków is seeking an L1 software engineer to develop the baseband SW, focusing on 5G and future 6G context. You will work on L1 architecture, feature development, and prototype work in a multi-core, real-time environment.

The role involves writing high-quality, optimized C/C++ code, unit and integration tests, and collaborating across teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards. A hybrid work setup is offered with office and remote days.

Qualifications

Strong and proven experience in software development.
C programming skills and experience is a must.
Signal processing knowledge is required.
Assembler experience is desired.
Experience in Python, C++, Erlang, Matlab is a plus.
Multi-core processor programming experience is needed.
Real time embedded systems knowledge is required.
BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical discipline or the equivalent.
English skills are important.

Responsibilities

Develop 5G baseband architecture, functionality, and features, with special focus on signal processing in UL receivers.
Write inventive, high quality, clean, optimized, and threaded code in a multi-core environment.
Maintain and improve the quality of the L1 part of the Baseband product.
Perform troubleshooting and customer support.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
Join early phase studies to transform requirements into L1 implementation.
