Job summary

OKTOBER is seeking a Senior Retention Manager to own strategy and outcomes for our most valuable Shopify brand accounts. You will drive data-driven decisions, mentor junior marketers, and shape the retention roadmap across your portfolio.

You’ll manage high-value accounts, coordinate onboarding, and push for best-in-class retention campaigns while collaborating with founders and the growing e-commerce client base.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience managing high-value/high-complexity accounts
• Full funnel understanding beyond email metrics
• Proven ability to develop retention strategy from scratch
• Strong relationship builder with client-facing coaching/mentoring experience
• Agency background or eight-figure brand experience

Responsibilities

• Own the retention strategy and outcomes for your pod’s top accounts
• Plan calendars, timing, and revenue targets based on data-driven insights
• Develop advanced retention strategies and pre-review campaigns
• Mentor junior team members and coach on client-facing skills and data-driven decisions
• Lead client onboarding and set clear expectations from day one
• Stay at the cutting edge of retention marketing and share learnings with the team
