Job summary

MailerLite, a fast-growing email marketing service, seeks a Senior Email Marketing Specialist to lead email campaigns, automation, list growth, and content strategy. You will own lead magnets, segment audiences, and partner with writers to elevate our email and blog content across a global, remote-first team.

You will work closely with product and lifecycle teams, stay ahead of industry trends, and measure impact with clear KPIs while maintaining deliverability and brand voice.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, ideally in a SaaS company where email was a core growth channel.
• Strong writing portfolio with newsletters or campaigns that performed well.
• Proven experience growing an email list organically, building segmentation and lead magnets.
• Sharp editorial eye to review and improve content.
• Genuine ongoing curiosity about email marketing and industry trends.
• Comfortable both writing hands-on and briefing others; some execution will be supported by writers.
• Experience with MailerLite or other ESPs.
• 4h overlap with CET time zone.

Responsibilities

• Manage all email campaigns from creation and writing to launch and optimization.
• Build and nurture automations to convert prospects and engage customers.
• Own lead magnets end-to-end, brief writers, and keep content up to date.
• Grow email lists with forms, pop-ups and landing pages to convert visitors.
• Organize MailerLite accounts, build segmentation, and tailor messaging for audiences.
• Collaborate with writers to brief and improve blog content and emails.
• Explore original, underexplored angles on email marketing for citations and SEO impact.
• Measure performance, define KPIs, and implement improvements.
• Align sending practices with deliverability standards and best practices.
• Stay immersed in email marketing trends and translate learnings into content and strategy.
• Coordinate with Email Lifecycle Manager to ensure non-overlapping lists and flows.
