Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a Senior DXP Consultant to work with clients in shaping scalable digital experience solutions across DXP, CMS, DAM, personalization, and e-commerce platforms. Lead discovery, translate requirements into delivery plans, and collaborate with architecture and engineering teams.

You will mentor junior consultants, build reusable frameworks, and grow leadership skills while delivering real customer value across multi-phase engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital consulting, business/systems analysis, or product ownership with hands-on experience on DXP, CMS, or e-commerce projects.
• Experience independently facilitating discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Track record translating business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/requirements documentation.
• Hands-on delivery experience with at least one enterprise DXP or e-commerce platform (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Magento, Shopify).
• Comfortable in Agile delivery models: backlog management, sprint ceremonies, Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience with Optimizely One (CMS, DAM, Experimentation, Personalization, CMP) is a plus.
• Exposure to platform migrations or multi-workstream programs is beneficial.
• Knowledge of headless CMS, personalization, DAM, or omnichannel commerce trends is a plus.
• Exposure to vendor evaluation or RFPs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Advise on solution design across CMS, DAM, personalization, and testing tools, working with architecture and engineering leads.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clear, structured documentation for developers and QA.
• Contribute to platform selection guidance and customer experience best practices for CMS, DAM, personalization, and A/B testing.
• Own functional accountability across backlog management, requirements traceability, documentation, and acceptance testing.
• Ensure alignment between business outcomes, solution design, and technical execution, preventing delivery misalignment.
• Mentor and upskill junior consultants and product owners.

As a Senior DXP Consultant, you will work with clients to understand their business needs and shape scalable digital experience solutions across DXP, CMS, DAM, personalization, and e-commerce platforms. You will lead discovery, translate requirements into clear delivery plans, and work closely with architecture and engineering teams throughout implementation.

Beyond project delivery, you will help strengthen the DXP practice by building reusable frameworks and playbooks, sharing knowledge, and mentoring others. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of complex engagements, deepen your platform expertise, and grow your leadership skills while delivering solutions that create real customer value.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and help shape solution design across CMS, DAM, personalization, and testing tools, working closely with architecture and engineering leads
• Translate ambiguous or conflicting requirements into clear, structured documentation that developers and QA can build against without rework
• Contribute to platform selection guidance and customer experience best practices - shaping recommendations for CMS, DAM, personalization, and A/B testing as you grow into practice-level influence
• Own functional accountability across backlog management, requirement traceability, documentation, and acceptance testing for large-scale programs
• Ensure alignment between business outcomes, solution design, and technical execution, and be the one who catches misalignment before it becomes a delivery risk
• Mentor and upskill junior consultants and product owners as part of a growing team

Requirements

• 5+ years in digital consulting, business/systems analysis, or product ownership, with hands-on experience on DXP, CMS, or e-commerce platform projects
• Experience independently facilitating discovery workshops and requirements‑gathering sessions with business stakeholders
• Track record of translating business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/requirements documentation
• Hands‑on delivery experience with at least one enterprise DXP or e‑commerce platform (e.g. Optimizely, Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Magento, Shopify) — real depth on one platform matters more to us than shallow exposure to five
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery models: backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills
• Experience specifically with Optimizely One (CMS, DAM, Experimentation, Personalization, CMP) - a real plus, not a prerequisite
• Exposure to multiple platform migrations, replatforming projects, or multi‑workstream program delivery would be beneficial
• Knowledge of headless CMS, personalization, DAM, or omnichannel commerce trends is a plus.
• Exposure to platform selection, vendor evaluation, or RFP/procurement processes, experience in mentoring junior consultants or analysts is an advantage
