Job summary

DSV Road GmbH is seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the system design of the DocES backend within the DDM team. You will drive greenfield components, uphold architecture best practices, and collaborate with product management to ensure scalable and secure digital document services.

You will mentor the development team, translate designs into actionable system stories, and coordinate with DevSecOps, DBAs, and network teams to optimize performance while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with enterprise application architecture and backend platforms.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and apply system architecture, integration guidelines, and data architecture principles defined by the DDM Solution Architecture and EDP.
• Maintain focus on operational cost and nonfunctional requirements in collaboration with the DDM Solution Architect.
• Collaborate with Lead Solution Architect, Domain Specialists, and Business Analysts to align with the DDM solution direction.
• Serve as backup domain SME for DocES to prevent single points of failure in domain expertise.
• Maintain up-to-date system design documentation for DocES backend components.
• Ensure security-by-design aligning with enterprise security architecture principles.
