Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking a Solution Architect to define and enforce global architecture principles and drive the ongoing improvement of DSV’s IT landscape. You will collaborate with Finance & Group Systems and DSV stakeholders, liaising with IT vendors and the Global Enterprise Architecture team to shape architecture across the business.

Experienced candidates will create designs for new solutions, advocate architectural principles, and maintain comprehensive design

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent work experience.
• 3-6 years of experience architecting or leading complicated projects.
• Strong analytical skills for mastering multi-functional highly scalable systems.
• Broad understanding of computer science, modern technologies and methodologies, multi-tenant applications and database technologies.
• Hands-on experience as solution architect and proven communication skills to articulate and document architectural decisions.
• Experience with API integration, Legacy to Micro-service, Event Management, Agile development, SDLC, BPM, and architectural modelling.

Responsibilities

• Challenge, influence and support stakeholders to solve issues and realize the company vision.
• Specify technologies and application architecture as basis for development, configuration, and implementation.
• Design and communicate architecture designs for new solutions while adhering to guidelines.
• Identify solution scenarios and translate them into architectural models and roadmaps.
• Work with delivery teams to develop sustainable solutions and ensure alignment with architecture.
• Produce and maintain solution documentation per standards and drive implementation accordingly.
• Obtain approval of solution designs via architectural forums.
