DSV Road GmbH is seeking a skilled Solution Architect to define and enforce global architecture principles for the Finance & Group Systems portfolio. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT vendors to shape the future architecture and keep it well-documented.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• 3-6 years of experience architecting or leading complicated projects.
• Strong analytical skills for multi-functional, highly scalable systems.
• Broad understanding of computer science, modern technologies, multi-tenant apps and databases.
• Hands-on experience as a solution architect with strong communication skills to articulate and document decisions.
• Experience with API integration, Legacy to Micro-service, Event Management, Agile development, SDLC, BPM, architectural modelling.

Responsibilities

• Challenge, influence and support stakeholders to solve issues and realize the company vision.
• Specify technologies and application architecture as the basis for development, configuration and implementation.
• Design and communicate architecture designs for new solutions while adhering to guidelines.
• Identify solution scenarios and translate them into architectural models and roadmaps aligned to guiding principles.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to develop sustainable solutions and verify alignment with architecture.
• Produce and maintain solution documentation per standards and drive implementation accordingly.
• Obtain approval of solution designs via architectural forums.
