Happy Mammoth is seeking an experienced Senior DR Creative Strategist to join our Marketing team as a full-time, remote contractor. You will develop direct response concepts for eCommerce, lead briefs, and guide designers/UGC talent to deliver assets that perform against performance data and tests.

Ideally you bring a background in B2C DR creative, strong copywriting, and a proven ability to craft hooks and narratives that resonate across AU, US, and EU markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing direct response creative concepts for eCommerce brands.
• Demonstrated track record of scalable winning concepts, not one-off wins.
• Background in direct-response copywriting with hooks and pain-point narratives.
• Experience briefing and directing designers, editors and UGC creators.
• Comfortable using performance data to inform creative decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch new direct response creative concepts on an ongoing cadence.
• Write clear briefs translating performance insights into direction.
• Partner with designers, editors, and UGC talent to execute concepts.
• Track concept performance and refine briefs based on results.
• Structure and run creative tests with clear hypotheses and documented outcomes.
• Adapt creative approaches for Australia, US, and EU markets.
• Stay ahead of platform trends to keep the brand fresh.
