Job summary

Happy Mammoth is seeking an experienced Senior DR Creative Strategist to join our Marketing team for a full-time remote role. You will develop direct response concepts for eCommerce, write strategic briefs, and collaborate with designers, editors, and UGC talent to drive scalable wins.

You'll analyze performance data, run tests, and adapt messaging for AU, US, and EU markets, staying ahead of Meta, TikTok, and YouTube trends to ensure fresh, effective campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing direct response concepts for eCommerce brands.
• Strong track record of scalable, winning concepts.
• Background in direct-response copywriting with hooks and angles.
• Experience briefing designers, editors, and UGC creators.
• Comfort using performance data to guide creative decisions.
• Familiar with testing frameworks and platform nuances (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
• Strong understanding of audiences across AU, US, and EU markets.
• Bonus: hands-on experience with Motion or Foreplay.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch new direct response concepts on an ongoing cadence.
• Write clear, strategic creative briefs translating performance insights into direction.
• Partner with designers, editors, and UGC talent to execute concepts.
• Track and report on concept performance, refining future briefs.
• Structure and run creative tests with clear hypotheses and document outcomes.
• Adapt creative approaches for AU, US, and EU markets.
• Stay ahead of platform trends to keep creative fresh.
