Job summary

Softeta seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer for an energy-sector client. You will automate Linux configurations, provision bare metal servers, deploy Kubernetes, and manage GitOps pipelines with Argo CD.

Responsibilities include containerization with Docker, Helm, monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana, RBAC security, and TLS/PKI lifecycle management. Hybrid/remote options and diverse projects are offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience provisioning bare metal servers and OS deployment.
• Practical Kubernetes installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of GitOps and declarative configurations.
• Hands-on with Argo CD and Kubernetes-based application delivery.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience.
• Experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests.
• Familiarity with Ansible or similar automation tools.
• Monitoring/alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of Kubernetes networking, RBAC, and security.
• PKI/TLS lifecycle management and cert-manager knowledge.
• Identity standards like OIDC/SAML, SSO, MFA.
• Secrets management with Vault or similar tools.
• Experience with IoT/Kubernetes-enabled devices is a plus.
• Cloud familiarity with AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Linux & infrastructure automation across environments.
• Bare metal provisioning and BIOS/OS deployment.
• Kubernetes cluster install, scale, and operations on bare metal.
• Fleet management with standardized config and rollouts.
• Design and maintain GitOps pipelines with Argo CD.
• Containerize apps with Docker and manage Helm charts.
• Implement monitoring/logging with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Configure networking, RBAC, and secret management.
• Manage PKI, TLS/mTLS and certificate lifecycles.
• Integrate identity providers (OIDC/SAML, SSO).
• Secret rotation and governance using Vault/External Secrets.
• Integrate Bosch IoT devices where applicable.
• Contribute to platform reliability, security, and automation improvements.
