Zusammenfassung

InPost Pay, part of InPost Group, is building a fintech platform from the ground up in Poland. This role offers a chance to shape architecture, scale core components, and contribute to a regulated fintech environment with AI-native tooling.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability across Payments Core, Merchant, and Consumer platforms, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. Hybrid work in Warsaw/Cracow.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform/SRE, or Infra Engineering.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and production containerized workloads.
• Strong CI/CD platforms and deployment automation experience.
• Practical experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Observability, monitoring, logging, and incident management expertise.
• Security best practices for cloud-native apps and infra.
• Experience with databases and messaging systems in production.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration across teams.
• English proficiency at B2 or above
• Degree in CS/IT or related field

InPost Pay is building its own fintech platform from the ground up. It’s a large-scale, international initiative where engineers will have the opportunity to shape the architecture, build core fintech components, and create solutions designed to operate at InPost’s scale.

We’re building a lean, highly effective engineering organization in Poland, with AI-native engineering at its core. We’re looking for strong engineers who are comfortable with agentic engineering, from experienced professionals building complex systems and engineering tooling to a new generation of engineers who have embraced AI-driven development from the start of their careers.

InPost is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and improve our infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational reliability across Payments Core, Merchant, and Consumer platforms. You'll work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and observable systems while supporting the evolution of our cloud-native platform and engineering tooling.

You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security practices, helping teams deliver reliable services in a highly regulated fintech environment. You'll report to the Senior Engineering Manager and collaborate with software engineers, security specialists, and compliance stakeholders.

Hybrid working model: preferably 1 day per week in the Warsaw or Cracow office.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments in production
• Strong experience with CI/CD platforms and deployment automation
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience operating cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management
• Experience with security best practices for cloud-native applications and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of databases and messaging systems in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple engineering teams
• English proficiency at B2 or above
• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Nice to have

• Experience working in fintech, payments, or other regulated environments
• Experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging platforms
• Familiarity with service meshes and cloud-native networking concepts
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices
• Experience with resilience engineering, disaster recovery, or chaos testing
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tooling and engineering productivity platforms
• Knowledge of PCI DSS or PSD2-related operational requirements
