Job summary

paytech, a fintech company building a B2B SaaS platform for payment processing, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Wrocław to scale and automate cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on reliability, security, and performance across production systems.

You will own AWS-based production environments, design IaC, and advance CI/CD, monitoring, and disaster recovery while contributing to a new DWH and real-time data processing stack with ClickHouse and Kinesis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles managing production environments.
• Strong Linux administration skills and performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience, especially EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS.
• Proficiency with Terraform and/or Ansible for IaC.
• CI/CD pipelines design and maintenance experience.
• Networking fundamentals incl. TLS, DNS, routing, VPNs.
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation.
• Understanding infrastructure security, HA, backups, and DR.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve production infrastructure on AWS with high availability and security.
• Design, automate, and maintain IaC configurations and deployment processes.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Manage Linux systems, networking, load balancers, and reverse proxies (nginx/HAProxy).
• Improve observability with monitoring/logging and proactive issue detection.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate on DWH infrastructure using ClickHouse and Kinesis for ingestion and streaming.
