Job summary

Ciklum in Poland is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a cross-functional development team and own infrastructure that scales with growth. You'll design, build, and maintain compute, networking, CI/CD, and observability, while promoting reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes developer experience, incident triage, and principled architecture. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, leverage IaC tools, and apply AI-driven improvements to automate workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a Kubernetes cluster with node pools, upgrades, and scaling.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform; Pulumi/CloudFormation).
• Strong fundamentals in infra/DevOps and scalable architecture decisions.
• Comfort owning production triage: logs, hypotheses, scripts, and root cause analysis.
• Combination of infrastructure/DevOps and Python/software engineering skills.
• Clear, effective communicator able to explain trade-offs to engineers and stakeholders.
• Genuinely AI-forward: using AI tools to move faster and better.
• Collaborative partner to the broader engineering org.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure (compute, networking, CI/CD, observability).
• Drive developer experience improvements — reducing friction and toil.
• Lead triage on production issues: analyze logs and drive to resolution.
• Shape and advance infrastructure architecture for simplicity, scalability, and ease of use.
