Job summary

insightsoftware is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, with IaC using Terraform and automated CI/CD pipelines. This role emphasizes securing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud resources while guiding a growing team of engineers.

You will collaborate with developers to ensure reliable deployments, mentor junior staff, and enforce best practices in cloud security and DR across Poland-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Production experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services and resources.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, or similar tools).
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud container services.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, network architecture, and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage Azure/AWS resources.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment and application release cycles.
• Manage Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure including VMs, App Services, AKS/ACS, databases, and networking.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools like DataDog.
• Establish and enforce security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infra issues and optimize performance.
• Lead capacity planning and document architecture decisions.
