Our team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for one of our clients.

Our client

Our client is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our client’s proven platform and services.

The project

The project is a proprietary platform that enhances interactions with external network service providers, allowing consultants to find and interview industry experts for research. The platform offers features such as querying vendors, reading transcripts from past calls, expert discovery, scheduling, conducting calls, and browsing current project transcripts. It aims to provide faster, higher quality insights in a secure environment.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Own end-to-end infrastructure for the platform (AWS-based)
• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure from scratch
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Manage and optimize AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, networking, security)
• Set up, maintain, and optimize containerized workloads using Amazon ECS
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency of the platform
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response practices
• Ensure infrastructure security, access control, and compliance best practices
• Support active product development by closely collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Integrate and support data infrastructure components, including Databricks
• Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and developer experience
• Take full ownership of DevOps processes with potential to evolve into a lead role and scale the team

Our expectations of the candidate

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Solid experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)
• Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon ECS
• Familiarity with Databricks
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions from the ground up
• English: Upper‑Intermediate or higher
• Strong, independent DevOps engineer who can take full ownership of the infrastructure, capable of building and scaling systems from scratch. Ideally, this person should be a 1‑man army who can operate autonomously, with the potential to grow into a lead role or expand the team further
• Proactive and solution‑oriented approach
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Readiness to take leadership responsibility as the role grows
