Job summary

Fundraise Up, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own one core platform area—observability or CI/CD—end-to-end. You’ll drive architecture, reliability, and roadmaps, mentor teammates, and handle on-call rotations while applying AI to day-to-day work.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE or similar responsibilities.
• Track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) skills.
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack: metrics, exporters, alerting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD: pipelines, orchestration, artifacts.
• Containers: Docker, image building, registries.
• Ansible.
• Git.
• Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• Production/on-call experience: diagnosing incidents and leading post-mortems.
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Ownership and attention to detail; downtime is costly.
• Languages: Fluent Russian (required).

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end: observability or CI/CD.
• Drive end-to-end technical initiatives from requirements to production.
• Clarify ambiguous requirements and define next steps.
• Design for reliability and scale of platforms.
• Support developers: deploy and monitor on Kubernetes, troubleshoot builds, help with metrics and logs.
• Automate repetitive toil and provisioning.
• Investigate production incidents as senior escalation point; participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through design reviews and pairing.
• Use AI in day-to-day work for troubleshooting and development.
