Job summary

EY is seeking a strategic Architect within the EY Fabric post-sales organization to define developer experience patterns that enable teams to build, deploy, and operate on EY Fabric consistently. You will create golden paths, reusable tooling, onboarding models, and workflows to accelerate delivery across engagements.

The role focuses on creating easy-to-consume DevEx patterns that improve speed, quality, security, and consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or architecture with Python/Java.
• Experience creating reusable developer platform assets, templates, golden paths, or accelerators.
• Cloud, DevOps, GitHub, or Kubernetes certifications preferred.
• Modern AI practices, including understanding of LLMs/RAG concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define the EY Fabric DevEx reference architecture across onboarding, repositories, CI/CD, environments, testing, deployment, observability, and handoff.
• Create repeatable DevEx patterns reusable across post-sales implementations.
• Establish golden paths for common development scenarios including onboarding, pipeline setup, environment provisioning, code promotion, testing, and release management.
• Develop accelerators such as repository scaffolds, pipeline templates, starter kits, sample implementations, onboarding checklists, deployment guides, and troubleshooting playbooks.
• Ensure DevEx accelerators are simple and usable for Forward Deployed Engineers and delivery teams.
• Define standards for GitHub, CI/CD, branching, code review, artifact management, secrets handling, deployment approvals, and release governance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align DevEx patterns with platform capabilities and roadmap direction.
• Identify recurring friction and convert it into reusable tooling and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to DevEx Architects and contributors.
