Job summary

Sword Services Greece is seeking a Configuration / Deployment Specialist to manage software deployments, environments, and release processes for enterprise systems, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in ICT, at least 8 years of IT experience, 3 years in a similar role, strong knowledge of deployment tools (Ant, Azure Pipelines), and proficiency in SQL and English (B2).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in ICT-related field.
8+ years of IT experience.
3+ years in a similar role.
Expertise in software deployment and release management.
Experience with RUP and/or Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of application servers.
Experience with build/deploy tools (Ant, Azure Pipelines).
Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
Excellent English communication (B2).

Responsibilities

Support build, integration and deployment of enterprise applications across backend systems and client devices.
Manage and maintain development, testing and production environments.
Configure, monitor and support deployment and release management processes.
Monitor system performance, availability and health, proactively resolving issues.
Support project teams during testing, deployment and implementation.
Analyse, troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of technical issues in system environments.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors and ICT teams for smooth deployment and operations.
Support deployment and maintenance of Azure-based development environments.
Contribute to configuration management, automation and continuous improvement of deployment processes.
