Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is recruiting a database administrator in Warsaw to manage a diverse DB estate. You will keep Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB healthy, secure and fast, with half time on operations and half on impactful migrations or projects.

You’ll work in a security‑minded environment with ITIL processes, incident handling, and automation using Ansible, Python, and scripting. English fluency is required; Polish locale is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands‑on database administration across at least two of: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Solid SQL skills and real experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery and high availability.
• Exposure to heterogeneous database migrations (Oracle to PostgreSQL/SQL Server is a big plus).
• Comfort in virtualised environments (VMware/vSphere, GCP/GCVE/AWS) and mixed Linux/Windows hosting.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow and/or Jira, and ITIL processes (incident, change, problem).
• Scripting and automation instincts (Ansible, PowerShell, shell, Python).
• Fluent English; other European languages welcome.
• An ownership mindset, curious, proactive, and a genuine team player.

• Work security-first: Imperva, Nessus, CyberArk, and alignment with ISO 27001, SOX, CIS and GDPR controls.

About the role

We run one of the most diverse database estates in the business, spanning Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, hosted across multiple data centres

You’ll keep this estate healthy, secure and fast, and you’ll play a real part general migration efforts. This isn’t a \"keep the lights on and nothing else\" job. Half your time is operations, half is projects that actually move the needle.

What you'll actually do

152.50 zł - 256.20 zł a year

This role is eligible for a 10% annual bonus opportunity.
