Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, CS, or mathematics.
• 3–5 years of hands-on data science experience; able to own multi-sprint projects.
• Advanced Python, SQL, PySpark; production-quality code and documentation.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and job orchestration (Airflow).
• Knowledge of ML methods, MLOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data science projects from problem scoping to deployment.
• Design methodologies, document approach, metrics, and timelines clearly.
• Lead solution design, break down epics into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Build production-grade Python and PySpark code on Databricks; scalable pipelines.
• Mentor junior data scientists and collaborate cross-functionally.
