Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science or advanced analytics roles.
• Strong Python or R programming skills.
• Proficiency in using data visualization tools.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modeling.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of data ethics, privacy, and governance principles.
• Experience in cross-functional teams and collaboration.
• Experience with version control in GitHub and collaborating on codebases.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced ML models and analyses to solve business challenges.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines for modelling and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into data science problems with defined success metrics.
• Prepare, clean, and manipulate large datasets for analysis and modelling.
• Communicate results clearly to diverse stakeholders including non-technical audiences.
• Work with product teams to integrate DS solutions into operational workflows.
• Ensure all models and analyses comply with data ethics and privacy standards.
• Lead experiments to test hypotheses and improve product or service performance.
• Mentor colleagues and share best practices across teams.
• Represent the organisation externally where appropriate.
