Job summary

Capgemini Warsaw is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end data and AI projects, shaping technical direction and architectures in collaboration with the AI Center of Excellence. You will design scalable solutions, guide clients through scoping workshops, and ensure production readiness with robust ML and data engineering practices.

Ideal candidates bring production AI experience, cloud expertise across GCP/AWS/Azure, and strong Python skills, with a track record in leading

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering AI systems in production.
• Deep understanding of ML, Generative AI, and agentic architectures.
• Hands-on experience with at least two major cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Strong Python with production-grade engineering mindset and clean coding practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of data and AI projects from discovery to deployment.
• Apply statistics, ML, forecasting, optimization, and Generative AI where appropriate.
• Design and deliver production-ready solutions with long-term maintainability and scalability.
• Lead scoping sessions and translate requirements into clear deliverables.
• Balance rigor with pragmatism and tailor complexity to the problem.
• Communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
