Job summary

Capgemini Polska is shaping data platforms across cloud providers to unlock rapid insights and scalable analytics for major clients. The team builds streaming and batch pipelines, modern data models, and ML-ready data ecosystems, using Spark, Snowflake and Delta Lake.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to operationalize models and ensure governance and security across platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on development in Python or Scala, Docker and Kubernetes, and

Qualifications

• Experience building data platforms on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong knowledge of large-scale data processing (Spark, Hive, Snowflake, Delta Lake).
• Excellent SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Programming skills in Python or Scala.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DataOps, data testing and monitoring.
• Understanding of data security and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-based data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
• Integrate data sources and expose data via APIs, semantic layers and data warehouses.
• Work with cloud services and orchestration tools (e.g., Dataflow, Airflow, MWAA, Data Pipeline).
• Design, develop and optimize data models and multi-layered processing architectures (bronze/silver/gold).
• Ensure efficient performance of SQL/NoSQL solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineering to operationalize ML models.
• Document data architectures, workflows and processes.
• Ensure security, compliance and data governance across the platform.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technology recommendations.
