Job summary

Finom, a European fintech platform, is seeking an experienced data analyst/scientist to extend offline eval suites and build online quality dashboards across products. You will mine real traffic data to create regression cases and work with product and domain experts to implement fixes.

You will combine strong statistics expertise with Python/SQL to translate metrics into actionable business decisions, contributing to a data-driven product culture in a dynamic EU-wide environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for end-to-end analysis.
• Strong understanding of statistics, including sampling and hypothesis testing.
• Analytical mindset; start from business questions, not tools.
• 3+ years in analyst/data scientist roles, at least one in a product context.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend offline eval suite across products — datasets, judges, metrics.
• Build and maintain online quality dashboards: resolution rate, CSAT, signals, latency.
• Mine failure patterns from real traffic and translate to regression cases for fixes.
• Harden methodology: judge stability and non-determinism handling.
• Translate numbers into decisions with weekly syncs and clear trade-offs.
