Job summary

Payabl, a fintech company delivering payments and multi-currency services, is seeking a QA Engineer – FinDB to ensure the quality and reliability of financial data and payment systems.

You will own QA activities across automation, API, and backend testing, contribute to strong test coverage, and help deliver stable software in a complex financial environment. This role supports remote work from Europe with relocation options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Python, and PyTest.
• Experience with API and backend testing.
• Strong functional and integration testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Create and execute test cases based on new feature implementations.
• Perform API and backend testing, ensuring correct system behaviour and data integrity.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across FinDB systems.
• Conduct manual testing when needed to ensure full coverage.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and coverage based on product requirements.
• Analyse logs and system flows to identify issues and root causes.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear evidence and reproducible steps.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to improve quality and delivery.
• Contribute to improving test automation and QA practices.
