Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior/Chief Business Risk Manager and Data Privacy analyst to lead GDPR-compliant retention and deletion initiatives across Nordea Finance. You will translate regulatory requirements into operational processes, governance frameworks, and technical implementations, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Technology to embed Data Privacy controls.

You will report to the Head of Nordea Finance Regulatory governance, controls & MI and play a pivotal role in shaping data privacy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience within Data Privacy, GDPR, Compliance, Risk Management or other regulatory disciplines.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into operational processes, governance frameworks and technical implementations.
• Experience from financial services or other highly regulated industries is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead GDPR-compliant retention and deletion of data processes across Nordea Finance.
• Drive Data Privacy initiatives within retention and deletion to embed regulatory requirements into sustainable processes, governance models and controls.
• Be part of the Nordea Data Privacy Risk Reduction Program, defining long-term strategic solutions for Retention and deletion.
• Partner with subject matter experts, business stakeholders and technology teams to define, prioritize and implement retention and deletion solutions.
• Influence stakeholders to ensure appropriate management of Data Privacy risks and regulatory obligations.
• Design, strengthen and continuously improve Nordea Finance's Data Privacy control environment.
• Assess Data Privacy risks in business change initiatives and support management decision-making.
• Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and dependencies, and provide reporting to senior management forums.
