Job summary

CloudLinux is seeking a visionary engineer to lead the evolution of our data platform. You will design a self-service DBaaS using Terraform and Ansible, enabling HA deployments across PostgreSQL and ClickHouse in a heterogeneous environment.

You will scale analytics clusters, maintain ETL pipelines, and replace manual incident response with automated self-healing systems. You will mentor product teams, guide stateful workload orchestration with Kubernetes operators, and drive modernization of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PostgreSQL experience including MVCC and high-load upgrades.
• Proven expertise with ClickHouse sharding and replication internals.
• Hands-on with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Experience operating databases in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Strong automation skills in Python or Go for devops tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a self-service DBaaS platform using Terraform and Ansible for HA clusters.
• Scale and manage multiple analytics clusters (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Maintain ETL pipelines and analytics tools, ensuring reliability of data workflows.
• Apply SRE practices, define SLOs/SLIs, and automate incident response.
• Lead modernization efforts and mentor product teams on data architectures.
• Collaborate across Bare Metal, Kubernetes, and cloud environments to optimize performance.
