Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience delivering pipelines powering customer-facing features.
• Deep experience with Ruby on Rails and Python.
• Extensive experience with large-scale data collection and ingestion (web scraping, parsing, proxies, structured feeds).
• Hands-on with batch-style data workflows using dbt, Airflow, or equivalents.
• Ability to translate complex technical details into clear product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product-focused data across Market Research, Market Surveys, and Daylight Revenue.
• Scale data ingestion pipelines processing data for 10M+ units via XML/JSON, web scraping, and API exposure.
• Set data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness standards for datasets.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to unlock features and insights.
• Maintain observability with monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated alerts.
