Job summary

Appsilon is seeking a mid-senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud platforms that support data science and ML workflows. You will lead scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and automate CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with clients to tailor architecture and best practices.

The role is fully remote within Europe, offering ownership of meaningful projects, strong growth, and a supportive consulting culture focused on delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud/platform/infrastructure roles.
• Led at least one technical solution implementation.
• Expertise in AWS (required), Kubernetes (required), and Linux systems.
• Know-how in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, bash).
• Experience in CI/CD environments.
• Strong consulting profile and ability to tailor solutions for clients.
• Fluent English (C1 minimum) and remote-friendly self-organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure) for data-driven projects.
• Automate DevOps processes (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, GitlabCI).
• Describe Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Develop infra for data science and ML workflows (Databricks, Posit).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advise clients on architecture and best practices.
• Lead documentation efforts and internal technical initiatives.
• Work on client projects as consultants with one main engagement at a time.
